Only upgrade if you have enough gems to spare. Assigning a Mayor is an important feature to Sub Cities. Mayors are Generals that you assign to the city, and their skills and abilities increase the city's resource production or troop production or both. So having the right mayor is important for each city. Review your Generals and see which one might fit the city most. If nothing else, throw a General on the city if you can, though, because they increase the city's effectiveness regardless of whether they are the perfect match or not.
Each Sub City has buffs. On the Sub City screen, you'll see various buffs. This is what lets you know which Generals to assign as mayors. For example, if my Sub City has a buff for troop attack and trap science, I might want to put a General on that city that complements those buffs, maybe someone that helps to increase those buffs or offset them, whichever I prefer.
The Buildings Tab lets you see what buildings the Sub City has upgraded and at what level. It is like a summary screen, so you'll notice that all of the buildings are listed by level. It won't take you to an actual City Management screen like your Main City. You can speed up the current building project by using Construction speedups or you can activate another builder for gems.
Troops Tab lets you see how many troops you have built in that Sub City and at what levels. To maximize on your effectiveness, if you notice that your total troop count, at the top is maxed out, meaning you've made the most troops you can make for that Sub City, you can dismiss lower level troops to make more room for your higher level troops.
Abandon City. You can abandon your Sub Cities at any time on the Sub City screen at the bottom left. Evony age II is now out. You cannot make your flag black. Select the nearest city you wish to withdraw your hero and troops to. Open the Map view, click on the flat, and click Build City. When it asks to "Recall your troops", select OK. If you screwed this up, you will have to go to great lengths to Salvage your hero. Enter the Feasting Hall and remove the Mayor. Enter the Rally Spot and March your army and hero to your nearest town.
Your hero will require at least one troop to escort him when he marches. Everyone's bot attacks the new flats and barbs them. It's NUTS! If there are several out from the home town but near a new town for barbing, it's pretty easy to build from that new town and abandon from behind, leap-frogging, if you will.
But the bot simply disobeys the excludelist command and abandons. I have to be in the Evony site when this happens. The whole idea of a bot is that you can set instructions and it obeys. The excludelist command isn't effective for this situation. I was hoping there would either be no such default or that I could disable it with a '0. It isn't about holding a new, buildingless town for hours and hours while I go to work, car wash, the movies or dentist.
If a new town gets hit right after the workers arrive, then so be it. I just want to be able to build a new town and not have it instantly abandoned. Also, it's fun to build a Rally Spot and walk the workers home rather than sentence them to cyber-eternity. I just hit him but nothing happened. Google SearchTextHere site:neatportal. I wrote newly built NPCs instead of newly built towns. The towns get built, but the goals immediately abandon them. I would like to have a new town waiting for me when I come back to the keyboard.
I sorta figured out how to put off having them abandoned instantly after getting built. That was through building a town with the Build City button. I was starting them from the Evony page.
