Also i play in scotland. Does these boots give you much protection from getting stood on and hard tackles on you? This is the only Adidas boot that is good for my wide feet. Whereas Nike boots are wider always even Vapor IV onwards.
I bought these top of the range adizero and also noticed with in a couple of wears, my 13 year old son not very big has both boots coming apart at the inner area where the boot meets the sole Crap for a couple of hundred dollars worth!! Yes it is normal for all leather boots. My son also has a pair of these boots and after only 3 games the soleplate has come away from the rest of the boot.

Well done on the review, very un-hyperbolic and factual. It seems as though adidas have come out with a winner. The superfly is too narrow for me. Do you think this boot will be any better? They started using the footballs as a scoring system!
You mean football-based websites use footballs as a scoring system? I think I am becoming obessed sorry :-p. And yes — consider that a sneak peak! Nice review, would like to get these. But already have to many boots! Hey Kyle, Great review! Quick Reply! If you are in the market for a light boot with a very natural feeling on the ball you will not be disappointed and I recommend having a look at these especially for wingers and forwards where your game is all about pace. Traction Adidas have changed things up with the soleplate and I feel this is a huge improvement. It is not Christmas yet, but when things like these are presented, it kinda feels like Christmas already. And just like you have to play with your new Christmas gifts, Jakob has been out on the pitch playing with the brand mew generation of the Adidas F50 Adizero, of which we were lucky enough to get a blackout test model from Adidas.
We did tell Jakob not only to play with the boot, but also make a review as we sent him out. Luckily he listened, so please come along and see what he thought of the new Adidas F50 Adizero. You don't need to see much of the video to realise that Jakob is pretty happy with the boot, and that even if he has not been a huge fan of the earlier generations of the Adidas F50 Adizero.
But Adidas have managed to raise the bar and create a boot that is extremely light at just grams, and that also performs incredibly well on the pitch. The can check out Jakob's take on the new upper in the video, and without giving it all away, his thoughts are predominantly positive.
To push the boundaries adidas have utilised new technologies, most significantly their new Speedfoil material - a super lightweight, semi transparent material which really flexes to the contours of your foot to provide a durable, secure fit. FIT One of the most important things to consider when you purchase a pair of boots is the fit. What good is a boot that looks great if it doesn t feel great? Speed boots are generally not renowned for their comfort, they're more in the category of a finely tuned racing car and comfort usually takes a back seat.
However the adizero s fit and comfort is extremely impressive. Straight out of the box the Hybridtouch upper feels soft and just moulds around your foot. You get the choice between the lightweight insole and a comfort option which provides a slightly thicker base.
During our testing we didn t find the comfort insole necessary, but for those of you who prefer a plusher ride it s a useful option to have. Those with wide feet may find the adizero a little narrow, just like many other speed boots.
